During this Covid19 lockdown we are taking the opportunity while we stay at home and stay safe to make that special effort this Easter. We can’t pop out to our favourite cafe or restaurant so let’s do what we can to create a special dining experience in our homes, particularly if we have a front line worker to support.
It is a great opportunity to pull out bits and pieces that you may have but don’t use on a daily basis. We like to use a mixture of crockery, it’s even better that it is not a full match, makes it more eclectic and interesting. We added a splash of colour by tying some colourful paper napkins around linen ones. We painted some boiled eggs for decorative effect and cut some spring flowering heather and daffodils to brighten up our set up.
This is an ideal opportunity to get the kids involved and there are lots of great You Tube videos and blogs with ideas for table decorations, egg decoration and fun games to keep you all amused over the Easter break at home.
